The Appeals Committee looking into the 20 petitions filed by aggrieved parties during the National Sports Federations elections that took place in Abuja on June 10 has ordered fresh elections into five federations.
The federations listed for fresh elections are Athletics, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Weightlifting and Rugby.
The elections have been fixed for July 7.
The Chairman of the committee, Abdulrazak Salau, said after thorough investigation, Brown Ebewele, Rosa Collins, Charity Opara Anozie and Solomon Ogba have been reinstated in athletics.
The representative of Darts Coaches, Dele Oguntokun; Prof. Morakinyo Babatunde Volleyball, Osun State representative on Weightlifting board; Louis Okoro; and Sule Warmara, Dart sponsor, were also reinstated in their respective federation boards.
The Rugby Federation, which did not hold election as directed, will now have their duly supervised by the International Rugby Federation, according to its tenets.
