A 46-year-old man, Michael Nwoha, has been arrested by operatives of the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly having anal sex with boys aged 6, 14 and 17.
The spokesman of the Command, Haruna Mohammed, revealed this in a statement on Sunday.
Mohammed said Nwoha was arrested on October 2, 2020 at about 8:30pm following a tip off.
He said Police detectives attached to 3-3 Division arrested Nwoha, a native of Uzuakoli in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, but who resides at 10, Uke Street, 3-3 Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi LGA of Anambra State.
He was said to have had carnal knowledge of the underaged on several occasions and admitted it in a voluntary confessional statement to the police.
He blamed his act on demons.
Mohammed said the boys had been taken to the hospital for medical examination.
The Command’s Commissioner, John B. Abang, has ordered for the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal investigation Department for discreet investigation, after which the suspect would be brought to book.
