A new Speaker has emerged for the Ondo State House of Assembly.
He is Hon. Bamidele Oleyeloogun.
The new speaker was elected on Monday amid the boycott of the sitting of the House by no fewer than 13 members.
Oleyelogun, from Ifedore Constituency, polled nine votes to defeat Olamide George, who got four votes.
Iroju Ogundeji emerged as the Deputy Speaker.
