The Branch Controller of the Central Bank of Nigeria in Kogi State, Ahmed Sule, on Friday confirmed the directive of the apex bank to Deposit Money Banks to accept the old N500 and N1,000 notes from customers.

He gave the directive at the State Headquarters of the CBN on Hassan Katsina Road, Zone 8 in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
