The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, gave the directive in a statement by the council’s Secretary, Alhaji Bello Mamman-Ifo, on Tuesday in Katsina.

The police in Kano State have arrested no fewer than 10 suspected miscreants, popularly known as Yan Daba, following a bloody clash during the Sallah Durbar in the metropolis.

The Katsina Emirate Council says it would not hold the usual Sallah Durbar during the forthcoming Eid Fitr to mourn victims of recent bandit’s attack in some communities in the state.
