This position was emphasized in a statement issued by the bank while disclosing plans to support this year’s Fashion Souk – the niche fair for fashion enthusiasts and businesses convened by Eventful Limited, Nigeria’s pioneer and leading events management company.
The organisers at the award ceremony, which held in Lagos, disclosed that Polaris Bank’s VULTe outperformed all its peers in the industry across eight metrics considered by the award selection/review Committee.
The intervention is aimed at driving human capital development and combating climate change in Nigeria through provision of essential school supplies such as; school bags, pens, books, sandals, and uniforms to over 1,400 schoolgirls in secondary schools in Kano, Lagos and Imo States respectively.
The programme has so far seen the Bank sensitize over 1,000 secondary school girls on feminine hygiene practices.
The Polaris Education Loan offers both new and existing private primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions customers of the bank, access to loans of up to N100 million to meet their various funding needs.
The new emir was, until his appointment, the Director (North Central) of Polaris Bank, a future-determining Bank.
When on May 18, 2021, the VULTe digital banking application vaulted from the purple hues of Polaris Bank, most watchers of developments in the Nigerian banking landscape would be forgiven if they concluded it was a “VULTe from the blues.”
To benefit from the reward initiative, all a referrer, who could be an existing customer or non-customer of the Bank, need do is to refer a new user to open a Polaris Bank account by enrolling on the VULTe digital bank platform, while for every referral completed, both the referrer and referred’s account will be credited with N300 and N200 respectively, instantly.

The initiative, which was done in collaboration with the Ogun State Government and United Nations Population Fund, is aimed at providing support to victims of gender-based violence with a view to properly rehabilitating and reintegrating them into the larger society.
