Ibidapo-Obe, who was the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution, passed away on Sunday at the age of 71.

Ibidapo-Obe, a former Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos, made the revelation in his address at the 10th Convocation of the faith-based Crawford University, Igbesa, Ogun.
The appointment was announced through a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Olalekan Alli, in Ibadan on Thursday.
