It was learnt that on November 13 at about 11:30pm, a Police Patrol team attached to Dandume Division, acting on a tip off, succeeded in arresting one Isiya Lawal, 24, of Makama Road, Dandume LGA of Katsina State in possession of 195 wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

According to available information, the team carried out series of raids at criminal hideouts, flash points and other black spots at Upper Iweka, Owerri Road and Head Bridge, Onitsha, hauling in 40 suspects for alleged stealing and possession of weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa.
