According to reports, the deceased was killed during a suspected cult clash in Ijagun Road in the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Gbesu Peters, the Divisional Police Officer in Badagry, told the News Agency of Nigeria that the corpse of the victim had been deposited at the Badagry General Hospital’s mortuary.
The Commissioner for Border Peace and Internal Security, Stanley Okoro-Emegha, made the disclosure in Abakaliki while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the state Security Council meeting.
