The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, Enough is Enough and BudgIT have sent a joint Freedom of Information request to Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, requesting him to use his good offices and leadership position to “urgently provide information on the 2015, 2016 and 2017 budget

He said that the exercises, which were part of training activities of the army in 2017, helped to curtail criminal activities and other crimes in the country.
