NAN reports that ANSA, the leading news agency in Italy, is a not-for-profit cooperative founded in 1945.
Ponle made the appeal at a meeting he held with the management and members of staff of the agency at its Lagos office.
The News Agency of Nigeria reported on Thursday that the new zones will begin operation on January 1, 2023.
Ponle said this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja while reacting to a letter from the Joint Union of the Agency giving the management a seven-day ultimatum to provide rice as Christmas gift for workers, among others.
The move, according to the Agency’s Managing Director, Buki Ponle, followed high level consultations by the management of the Agency with the relevant government institutions and the Nigerian embassies in South Africa, Ethiopia and Cote d’ivoire.
The President General, SSASCGOC, Kayode Alakija, made this known during a courtesy call on the Managing Director of NAN, Buki Ponle, in his office in Abuja, Wednesday.
The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of NAN, Buki Ponle, and Director General of BTA, Kiril Valchev.
