This, according to the Governor, will give the physically challenged people a voice in his administration and help redress their usual agitation over neglect. Governor Oyebanji who arrived at the Ifaki residence of the former Governor at around 10.35am, said the visit was in fulfillment of his pledge to personally call and visit Engr Oni, whom he described as a brother and leader for whom he had great respect. 

Oyebanji spoke on Monday while flagging off the construction of the Ekiti State Civil Service Senior Staff Club and Recreation Centre in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has urged labour unions to join his administration in its quest for higher and more equitable allocation to the state from the Federation Account to enhance the welfare of workers and the entire people of the state.

The problem of epileptic power supply in some rural areas in Ekiti State would soon end as the State Government has sought the intervention of the Rural Electrification Agency in Abuja.

The Governor stated this on Tuesday while receiving members of the Alumni Association and Board of Trustees.

Ekiti Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has inaugurated chairmen and members of the Governing Councils of three state owned higher institutions with a charge  to them to develop a rescue agenda to reposition the institutions to enviable heights.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, on Thursday, performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Nigeria Air Force base at the Ekiti Agro Allied International Airport.

This was made known in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to Oyebanji, Yinka Oyebode, on Tuesday.

He said this at Ipinmoye’s thanksgiving on Sunday at the Anglican Church, Emmanuel Cathedral, Okesa, Ado-Ekiti.
