Komolafe, until his new appointment, was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transportation. He takes over from Barrister Bamidele Agbede, who is billed to retire from the State Civil Service on Friday, August 18th, having attained the mandatory 35 years in the service.

Briefing Journalists on Wednesday at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, the State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, who is chairman of the committee,  Akintunde Oyebode, said the palliative measures cover people in the formal and informal sectors as well as the elderly and the indigent citizens.

This, according to the Governor, will give the physically challenged people a voice in his administration and help redress their usual agitation over neglect. The occupant of the position would be someone with requisite knowledge in special education and who has genuine passion for welfare and wellbeing of the physically challenged.
