He searched and low and behold, he found such a town in Nigeria, it’ll be home for the next 50 years of his life. When he got to Ilesha, he became a part of an ongoing revival there led by Apostle Ayo Babalola. He ended up becoming a mentor to Apostle Babalola and many other known christian leaders in Nigeria. He was the spiritual father to Archbishop Benson Idahosa. Benson Idahosa testified of how God specifically gave him the name of Ilesha and told him to go look for a white man there who will mentor him.

The tweet, which was posted on Tuesday, read in part: “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

Today is Biafra day. It is a day that has been set aside to honour the memory of the three to five million Biafran civilians that were killed in the Nigerian civil war, which took place from 1967 to 1970.

Great nations are great not because of geography or who they cohabit with in the country. Great nations are not built by the virtues of their wealth but by the wealth of their virtues. Without every citizen being committed to the greatness of the nation by consciously imbibing cultures of diligence, honesty, integrity, discipline etc., there will be no great nation inspite of any name we choose to call ourselves.
