Stoke boss praises Moses

Stoke City boss, Mark Hughes, has praised Nigerian midfielder, Victor Moses, to the high heavens following his superlative display in their 2-0 win over Everton on Wednesday.
Moses, who was the man of the match, proved one of the main differences between the two sides.
Moses powered in a superb 32nd-minute header from Phil Bardsley’s pinpoint cross to open the scoring, before substitute Mame Biram Diouf pocked in an 86th-minute second after Marko Arnautovic’s shot hit the post to seal the three points.
A fourth-straight league win moves Stoke up to eighth in the table on 42 points, with Mark Hughes’ side on course for their highest-ever Premier League finish with 10 games remaining.
Moses has quietly been proving one of the Premier League’s top performers amid their recent successful run of results, and Hughes was full of praise for his showing on the night, hailing it as his best in a Potters shirt at the final whistle.
“It’s a fantastic header from Victor Moses and then we are in a position to soak up pressure and hit on the break,” Hughes said. “It was arguably Moses’s best performance for Stoke City.
“It’s a fantastic period at the moment, 42 points and we are eighth. We’re very happy but we still have work to do.”
Having arrived on a season-long loan from Chelsea in August, Moses has since scored four goals in 21 games across all competitions for the club, while also adding seven assists.
It still remains to be seen whether the Nigeria international’s long-term future lies at the Britannia Stadium but, judging from the Twitter reaction to his latest outing, Stoke fans would love to see his move made permanent in the summer.
