Skye Bank Plc has inaugurated a unique digital banking solution tagged ‘SkyeXperience’, to enhance service delivery and personalise the customer experience.
Adetokunbo Abiru, the bank’s Group Managing Director, at the inauguration in Lagos, said that the digital solution would make banking hassle free for all its customers.
Abiru stated that the initiative was a display of the bank’s commitment to its valued customers who had continued to, not only do business with the bank, but also challenged it on how best they could be served better.
He said the overriding objective of inaugurating SkyeXperience was to simplify service delivery and personalise the customer experience.
He said: “SkyeXperience is today Nigeria’s most advanced digital financial solution that will make banking hassle-free and provide exciting lifestyle for both the young and the old.”
He said that the unique features of the SkyeXperience digital solution was its overriding benefit of providing for the customer, an omni-channel experience and seamless navigation on multiple platforms.
Abiru added that the solution was a self-service, enabling the customer to do several transactions on the go and to manage time better.
He said: “For our worthy individual customers, who need to pay school fees from their home or office to our SMEs customers and retail entrepreneurs who need to make instant payments to suppliers and vendors in distant cities, this solution is for you.”
Mohammed Ahmad, the bank’s Chairman, said the inauguration of SkyeXperience was the bank’s own modest contribution toward the economic development of Nigeria, especially in the area of financial technology and digital revolution.
Ahmad said that the bank had always taken the lead in terms of digital offering in the financial service space.
He stated that the inauguration was a response to the needs and expectations of the customers, especially the digital natives who were either caught up or born with technology.
Ahmad said: “By the unveiling of this new service platform called SkyeXPerience, we are offering you a smarter way to bank and a more convenient way to live.”
He also commended the Federal Government’s policy on digital revolution which seeks to achieve 30 per cent broadband penetration by 2018.
Ahmad said that SkyeXperience would encourage more Nigerians to embrace the use of technological solutions to attain a more convenient and quality living, irrespective of their social status.
