Police uncover another ‘torture’ centre with over 300 inmates in Katsina

Another traditional torturing center allegedly meant to be a reformation centre for children with character deformation in Daura has been discovered and closed down by the Katsina State Police Command following a riot by the inmates over excessive abuses.
The centre, operated by one Malam Bello, has been in existence for over 40 years.
More than 300 inmates were discovered in a small mud house in critical conditions, the police said.
