Police recruitment: 1,391 candidates shortlisted in Kaduna

The Police Command in Kaduna State said on Tuesday that it had shortlisted 1,391 candidates for the recruitment examination into the Nigeria Police Force.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhktar Aliyu, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Kaduna that 6,966 candidates had applied for the recruitment in the state.
He said that the 1,391 shortlisted candidates went through physical, height, chest, credentials, reading and writing screening.
He said that the age requirement is between 18 and 25 years, adding that result being accepted is from 2013 upward, adding that examination would hold on May 25 at six centres in the state.
They include: Kaduna State University, Dambo International School, Barnawa, Elbo Valley online, Ateko Digital Technology, Barnawa, Skola resources, Sardauna Crescent, and White House Computer, Kakuri.
Aliyu said that the Police Service Commission had shortlisted 37,062 candidates for the examination, as part of the process for the recruitment of 6,000 constables into the Nigeria Police Force.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that PSC had earlier shortlisted 133,324 applicants for screening.
