The Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Emeka Mba, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Mba, according to sources, was arrested on Monday over an alleged N15 billion fraud.
The NBC had been under the radar of the EFCC for some time now.
Reports last week had it that operatives of the EFCC were at the office of the NBC where they searched for documents in both hard and soft copies.
As at press time on Monday evening, Mba was yet to be released from the headquarters of the EFCC where he was being grilled.
