Director-General of the commission, Malam Balarabe Ilelah, made the disclosure in a statement issued by Ekanem Antia, Deputy Director, Public Affairs of NBC, on Saturday in Abuja.
They were kidnapped Monday night when the gunmen raided Bakori Housing Units.

The suit followed the order by the National Broadcasting Commission asking TV and radio stations to “suspend the patronage of Twitter immediately”, and telling them to delete “unpatriotic” Twitter, after the social media giant was banned in the country for deleting President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet.
The request was contained in the submission of the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, at the public hearing of a bill to amend the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission Act organised by the House Committees on Information, Ethics and Values.
The NBC had reportedly stated that the decision followed the suspension of Twitter operations in Nigeria by the Federal Government over purported use of the platform for “activities that are capable of undermining the corporate existence of Nigeria.”
He particularly singled out one Ahmad Isah of the Human Rights Radio 101.1FM, whom he accused of putting him and the BBC crew in this precarious situation by allegedly releasing their personal phone numbers on air.
This was announced in a statement issued on Thursday after the NBC met with the owner, Ahmed Isah, who is also the host of Berekete Family Show, a programme on the radio station.
