The Police prosecutor, Corporal Friday Adaji, had told the court that Joseph Agba of Kubwa Biaji reported the incident at the Calvary Road Police Station, Mararaba on May 6.
Adaji said on May 5, the complainant’s 16-year-old daughter, Magaret Agba, who left home to write her WAEC examination, did not return home as at 5:30pm and her phone was switched off.
He said the complainant and some of the girl’s friends later discovered that the defendants had allegedly abducted the girl while coming back from school.
The prosecutor said during police interrogation, Bosede obstructed police from performing their duty and broke the ID card of one Sergeant Igode Matthew attached to Calvary Road Police Station.
The prosecution said the offences contravened Sections 97, 272, 148 and 327 of the Penal Code.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Bossed said: “I did not abduct her.
“I only helped her because she goes to the same school with my son who is also writing WAEC.
“I took her in when she told me that she stays far from where she always come to write her examination and I thought her father was aware of it.”
