The technical adviser of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Samson Unuanel, has urged the club’s supporters to be patient with it over its lone goal victory over visiting Mighty Jets of Jos on March 1.
Unuanel told the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Ilorin that the club was a newly assembled team that would soon rise to the occasion.
He said his target was to bring the darling team of Kwarans back to the Premiership next season.
Unuanel noted that his boys were relatively new to the system but promised that the team would soon take its proper shape and deliver as expected.
NAN reports that Dare Ojo, Adegbenro Samuel, Jimoh Oseni and Saka Habeeb are the players in the team last season.
The Kwara United gaffer said it was his duty to make sure that he builds confidence in his players, adding that he also takes responsibility for their mistakes.
He said the club had 30 players this season, which he would rotate to always keep his team fresh.
According to him, the team’s focus is now on the game against Nigeria Prisons in Abuja on March 8.
