President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and some of the governors loyal to the New Peoples Democratic Party are at present locked in a meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Top on the list of those at tending the meeting is the Rivers State Governor, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.
The meeting started at 4:30pm.
Since the fictionalization of the PDP, this is the first time Amaechi will be attending any of the reconciliatory meetings in the Villa.
Others sighted at the venue of the meeting were Governors Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), Idris Wada (Kogi) and Liyel Imoke (Cross River).
Information reaching The Eagle Online has it that there will be another one by 11pm on the reconciliations efforts.
The 11pm meeting is to be attended by the National Chairman of the New PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje; the factional National Chairman of the old PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur; the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih; and Jonathan.
