The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon E. Arase, has restated his commitment to taking Nigeria Police to greater heights and further improve the standard of living of officers and men.
He disclosed this on Tuesday during his courtesy visit to the Chairman and members of Police Service Commission.
The IGP promised to collaborate with the Commission on germane issues bothering on back-log of promotions, enhanced salary package, recruitment, renovation of Police Training Institutions, expansion of establishments and strength of the Nigeria Police Force, with a view to ensuring the efficiency and morale boosting of officers.
The Chairman, Police Service Commission, Sir Dr. Mike Mbama Okiro, in his response, welcome the positive collaboration with the Acting IGP and promised to do everything possible within his constitutional mandate to guarantee improved welfare packages for officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force.
