Gunmen on Sunday kidnapped a judge of the Customary Court of Appeal in Kogi State, Isaq Momoh Usman.
The gunmen equally killed Usman’s police orderly in the process of kidnapping him.
The Incident was said to have occurred along the Itakpe-Kuroko Road on Sunday evening while the judge was returning to Lokoja from his country home.
The gunmen abducted Usman along the Okene-Itakpe bypass in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State when they intercepted his car.
The police orderly was shot and killed on the spot, while Usman was reported to have sustained gun shot injuries.
The driver was also shot several times but he survived.
