A former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State, Kehinde Bamigbetan, has lost his wife, Fatimah, The Nation is reporting.
According to the highly credible newspaper, the wife of the Commissioner died on Sunday in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Fatimah was said to have been battling cancer.
Bamigbetan, a veteran journalist, was Chief Press Secretary to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, when he was the Governor of Lagos State.
He also served briefly in the administration of former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, as Commissioner for Information and Strategy.
The former Political Editor of The PUNCH newspaper was also at a time the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Authority of Lagos State.
