Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has been nominated for the 2014 BBC African Footballer of the Year award.
The Lillie of France goaltender kept an astonishing 21 clean sheets in the French League last season.
The Nigerian will slug it out Manchester City star Yaya Toure, Roma striker, Gervinho, Gabon and Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Algeria’s Yacine Brahimi for the award.
Enyeama was one of the most impressive goalkeepers in Europe last season. He even managed to keep out the opponents for an astonishing run of 11 straight games.
The winner will be decided by votes from soccer fans, with voting closing onNovember 24.
The winner will be announced on December 1.
