Eagles to get US visa on Friday

Home-based Super Eagles, coaches and officials that appeared on Tuesday at the American Embassy in Abuja would get their visas unfailingly on Friday.
“The players and officials submitted their international passports and other documents, backed by the Nigeria Football Federation, to the US Consulate yesterday (Tuesday) and the process was very smooth,” The Eagle Online was told.
A source within the team revealed: “The US Embassy officials were fantastic.
“They were very accommodating.
“They treated us like kings and promptly attended to us.
“From the look of things, they have promised us that our visas would be ready Friday this week.”
The Super Eagles players had to process the American visas in Nigeria so that the transition from the United States of America, where they would play an international friendly with Mexico and then back to Germany, their camp site, for the 2014 World Cup qualifying matches and the FIFA Confederation Cup, would be smooth.
