Suspected Fulani herdsmen in the wee hours of Monday attacked Tambo B community in Girei Local Government of Area of Adamawa State.
The Fulani herdsmen stormed the community at about 1am, reports reaching The Eagle Online said.
One person was confirmed dead in the attack.
His name was given as Abalis Tambo.
Several others were equally injured as the attackers were said to have ransacked almost every house in the community.
Over 70 cows, goats and sheep were reportedly catered away.
A source said: “This Herdsmen came in their hundreds with all sophisticated weapons.
“Cows, which I presume to be over 70, many goats, sheep were also taken away and all the shops in the community were wrecked.”
