Finally, President Muhammadu Buhari has signed into Law, the Eletoral Act Amendment Bill.
Buhari signed the bill at the Presidential Villa Abuja, Friday in the presence of the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Federal Government, Boss Mustapha, among other top government officials.
The non-signing of the amended bill has thrown up controversy among the the Nigerian public, politicians, raising the fear about the possibility and validity of the 2023 general elections.
