The Director of Finance and Admin in the Office of the National Security Adviser, Brig. General Ja’afaru Mohammed told the House Ad hoc committee investigating the management of recovered fund between 2002 and 2020 that the ONSA has nothing to do with recovered funds and assets.

The Committee chaired by Adejoro Adeogun (APC, Ondo) raised concern over the discrepancies noticed in the documents submitted by the Nigerian Navy which showed that 48 vessels and 12 barges were handed over to the EFCC, whereas only 36 vessels and one barges out of the number reflected in the documents EFCC submitted to the committee.
