President Muhammadu Buhari is due to address the nation again today.
This was made known by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement on Monday.
Though the statement did not specify the reason for the nationwide broadcast, President Buhari had in the last one month addressed Nigerians on the spread of the Coronavirus Disease into the country twice.
He had on April 14, 2020 declared a further lockdown of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Ogun and Lagos States to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He had two weeks before then also declared a 14 days lockdown of the two states and the FCT.
Adesina said: “President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation Monday, April 27, 2020 at 8pm.
“Television, radio and other electronic media stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.”
