The Federal Government has been charged to pay greater attention to the technological development of the nation to enhance its growth.
The Chairman and Spiritual father of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church World wide, His Grace Reverend Prophet Samuel Abidoye, popularly known as Baba Aladura, made the call on Sunday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, while answering questions from newsmen.
Prophet Abidoye noted that such efforts would ensure rapid development of the country and create more jobs for the teeming youths.
The spiritual father commended the Federal Government for its intention to give scholarship and attention to science students, adding that it would promote interest in science related courses.
He also charged the Federal Government to respect the rule of law to strengthen the Nation’s democracy.
Prophet Abidoye appealed to the government to tackle corruption, unemployment and the current fuel scarcity affecting the Country.
The spiritual father called on the Federal Government to increase its allocation to unemployed youths from N5,000 to N10,000.
He implored Nigerians to continue to pray and support the present government in its strive to develop the nation.
Also in his message, Prophet Emmanuel Alonge of the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Ogidi Oloje Headquarters, Ilorin called on the people to continue to leave in peace.
Prophet Alonge equally urged the Federal Government to address the lingering fuel crisis, which had claimed innocent lives.
The Cleric, who implored Nigerians to contribute their quota to the development of the country, charged religious leaders to pray fervently for Nigeria to overcome its challenges.
Prophet Alonge advised the government to make the people their cardinal point by implementing people oriented programmes.
