After weeks of waiting, the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is set to inaugurate the two minister-designate, Prof. Stephen Ocheni from Kogi State and Suleiman Hassan from Gombe State.
Hassan and Ocheni were cleared by the Senate on May 3, 2017.
Since they were cleared by the Senate over two months ago, there had been call on Osinbajo to administer the oath of office on them and assign portfolios to them.
Osinbajo’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, revealed on his Twitter handle on Tuesday night that Ocheni and Hassan would be sworn in on Wednesday.
This will be before the Federal Executive Council meeting.
