The harvest of honours for Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed, continuedon Tuesday as he bagged the Leadership newspapers award for Politician of the Year.
Ahmed shared the honoured with six other governors, popularly called the G-7 Governors, who steered political reforms in the ruling Peoples Democratic Party last year.
The other governors are Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Dr. Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Alhaji Sule Lamido (Jigawa) and former Governor Murtala Nyako (Adamawa).
Governors Kwankwaso and Wamakko personally collected their awards, while Governors Ahmed and Amaechi were represented.
