The Kwara State Government announced on Thursday that Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed has approved the appointment of nine Senior Special Assistants and 44 Special Assistants.
This was contained in a statement issued in Ilorin by Alhaji Isiaka Gold, the Secretary to the State Government.
The statement said the move was aimed at invigorating the machinery of government for better and optimal service.
It explained that the appointments, which took immediate effect, were also aimed at injecting new hands and fresh ideas in governance of the state.
The names of the appointees were not however given in the statement.
