Alhaji Gold charged the KWARTMA trainees to take the training programme seriously and put the knowledge acquired into use while on the field to ensure that road users obey traffic laws and regulations across the state.

Giving a breakdown of the empowerment at a press briefing in Ilorin on Monday, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of Quickwin Implementation Committee, said of the figure, 1,872 youths will be engaged for entrepreneurship training, 1,872 for Clean and Green, 1,100 for the new Environmental Corps, 350 under KWABES, 156 under the State Road Traffic Management Agency and 50 as Special Intervention Agents of the State Signage and Advertising Agency

Banu, who is also the Chairman of the Kwara Joint Account Allocation Committee, spoke at the end of the monthly meeting of the committee.
The amount distributable for the month of February in the state stood at N755.3 million

Ahmed said: “Our resolve to identify and engage Mater Trainers was borne out of a desire to benchmark skill acquisition centres against global standards, expose Master Trainers to the latest technologies in their respective trades, promote uniformity in the standard of practice, and in the process, reduce youth employment
