The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC has said that it will investigate the incident that led to the suspension of their Technical Adviser, Coach Erasmus Onuh.
In a reaction by the club’s Team Manager, Alloy Chukwuemeka, he emphatically said that the team is a disciplined team and it therefore will never encourage any act of indiscipline be it from the players or even from the coaching crew.
According to Chukwuemeka: “We as a responsible and responsive management wish to condemn in strong terms the alleged attack on referee by our coach in our match with Worry Wolves, as that goes contrary to our character as a team whose motor is discipline.
“We will investigate the matter from our own end and come out with appropriate sanction where necessary.
“Although he might have been provoked by the action of the assistant referee, Iribor Abraham, but two wrongs cannot make a right.”
The TM however noted that the club may appeal the NPL sanction if the need arises.
