Former Borno SSG, Usman Jidda-Shuwa, is dead

Alhaji Usman Jidda-Shuwa, immediate past Secretary to the Borno State Government, is dead.

The former SSG in Governor Babagana Zulum’s government, passed away during a brief illness on Saturday.

This was at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.

The deceased was at the Muhammadu Buhari Airport in Maiduguri when he was suddenly rushed to the hospital for an unknown illness.

Borno State Deputy Governor, Usman Kadafur, who confirmed the news in a text message sent to the News Agency of Nigeria, said: “We lost the SSG this evening.”
