Abductors of Delta monarch demand N15m

The abductors of the Obi of Ogodo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Obi Olisewokwu, have demanded N15 million ransom for his release, Nigerian Tribune is reporting.
According to the newspaper, the kidnappers had requested the ransom after establishing contact with members of the family.
The family members were said to have been instructed to deliver the ransom by 6pm on Monday, without which the hoodlums had vowed to killed Olisewokwu.
The monarch, who is the Chairman of Aniocha North Traditional Rulers’ Committee, was abducted on Sunday at about 4:25pm.
He was said to be on his way back from Onicha-Olona when the hoodlums intercepted his Sports Utility Vehicle and hurled him into the woods after abandoning the vehicle on a spot.
