Rangers’ Board has approved the re-engagement of Christian Chukwu as the Technical Director and Foster Chime as the Media Director of the club for an additional year.
The other technical crew re-engaged include Team Manager, Amobi Ezeaku; Marketing Manager, Ignatius Okafor; Scouting Officer, Patrick Nworji; and Team Doctor, Emeka Onyia.
Chime told NAN that the re-engagement of the technical team for the new season came after the club’s board meeting on Saturday morning.
Chime said that the board took the decision in line with the splendid performance of the technical team in the just-concluded season.
He said: “The re-engagement is a clarion call for Rangers’ technical crew and management to live up to expectations, build on previous successes and achievements made by the club in the just-concluded season.
“The Acting Board Chairman, Steve Oruruo, described the team’s success and winning the league trophy after 32 years as a collective effort.
“He also believes that the set target for the club in the 2016/2017 season is to win the trophies at the CAF Champions League, NPFL league and Federation Cup, which is possible to achieve.”
Rangers will represent the country at the 2016/2017 CAF Champions League as well as defend its 2015/2016 NPFL title and participate in the 2016/2017 Federation Cup.
