President Muhammadu Buhari has officially resumed, according to photographs posted on the Facebook page of his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
So also has Buhari notified the National Assembly of the fact that he has resumed.
The photographs, posted on Monday by Adesina, showed Buhari being led to his office by his body guards, suspected to be operatives of the Department of State Services; receiving briefing from the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who acted while he was away; and signing of document in the presence of his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari.
Buhari had observed a medical vacation in the United Kingdom from January 19, 2017 till Friday last week when he arrived the country.
He was initially scheduled to resume on February 6, but requested for additional days through the National Assembly.
