Jack Wilshere has signed for Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal.
Bournemouth boss, Eddie Howe, beat off competition from Crystal Palace and Roma in a major coup for the South Coast club.
Bournemouth paid a £2 million loan fee, are paying all of Wilshere’s wages and that helped them give an edge over Palace in negotiations.
But Howe also convinced Wilshere that his footballing style would suit him and his best pal, former Arsenal youth team mate Benik Afobe, is already at Bournemouth.
Arsenal sanctioned a loan move for Wilshere to help get him more regular games to help him kick start his career after injuries held him back.
Wilshere has two years left on his current Arsenal contract, they have yet to start negotiations about a new deal and he is now fighting for his career.
