Some ladies can’t handle heart break and disappoints. As women, just as our faces are different, so are our shock absorbers.
It was actually an office romance. Nothing wrong in office romance, but you’ve got to be careful whom you pick to ball. He’s a married guy and had dated and dropped tons of girls in the office.
The lady…nay! Delete that! Let’s say the woman. Yes, the woman. The woman is said to be single, while others said she’s widow. The bottom line however is that she’s a loner. No guy hovering around her enclave.
I have seen her several times at the office. She hardly talks and was hard of hearing. Seems she has a problem. I don’t know. The few times I tried to interact with her, I left in frustration. And because she finds it hard to communicate her desires and feelings, she’s often given to fits of anger and provocation.
Those who are close to her said one could shout until you’re blue in the face, but she wouldn’t be able to hear you.
The ace is to get her to look at your face. Yeah, she read lips. Then she would try to reply through gesticulation and funny sounding ways. She’s however an excellent and brilliant typist.
When she suddenly started taking extra care with her dressing and applying make-up, we all knew something was up.
We however never knew that the something, standing on two legs, with dangling two-linesmen and one referee, was in our office.
Whatever the something going between them was, it was too short.
We however got to know the guy when she suddenly, fuming and making a lot of angry noises, grabbed his brand new laptop and shattered it on the ground. She was actually going for his jugular when members of staff that were nearby held her.
She burst into tears. The story later filtered out of course.
The guy looked shocked and visibly scared. The idiot! Only God knows what on earth he had said to her to get her to open wide for him.
I mean, the woman was just too reserved and a loner. I remembered labelling her the “ice queen”. She was pretty in her own, unique way. How the guy stormed across her frozen stance, bridged her heart and buried himself in her jungle beats me.
While the romance lasted, she was all smile and sunniness.
Hummm! Love! It can get anybody, not matter how hardened, to smile like a fool! Those who pretend to be the hardest where love is concerned, falls the hardest.
I didn’t know what the guy was thinking when he approached the woman, but he shouldn’t have trifled with her emotions.
He may probably be beating his chest like Tanza, telling himself he did her favour by greasing her honey that had become almost rusting.
But who needs to go through hell just because of a few rolls in the sack? Believe me, nursing a broken heart is akin to hell!
The thing about a few rolls in the sack is that you get to a point, you would want more. A point when you realise a roll in the hay is no longer enough.
Most people, who gossiped about the shortlived affair, felt the guy took the woman for a ride because of her physical impairment. Many said he swooped and chopped her because he felt she was too deaf and dumb to do anything after he would have been through with her.
I don’t know. But the moral here is that every one of us has a heart that can be broken. Nobody’s heart, no matter the person’s shortcomings or flaws, should be trifled with.
This guy had severally chopped a lot of babes and dropped them. He may very well have picked her because he found her attractive and his one-eyed snake jumped at the sight of her. I don’t know. Only God knows. But do treat everyone with respect. We deserve it!
I have however always tried to warn people about blow job with people that suffer from epilepsy. Just like I said, they too are people and have hearts.
They can love and be loved. They can ball and be balled. But I heard a story that happened in campus and since then, I had been telling people to be careful when it comes to oral sex with epileptic lovers.
If you’re interested in hearing what a guy told me happened in their hostel during our undergraduate days, please do let me know. Yes, I know that some of you had already heard the story from me before. But what the heck, let others hear and decide. We shouldn’t get tired of sounding warnings.
Sex should be enjoyed and that enjoyment shouldn’t become a source of bitterness in the middle or aftermath of the act.
Okay folks, holler me o jare!
Do keep a date with us next week.
