The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), said proactive intelligence is needed for effective service delivery.
Osun State Commandant of NSCDC, Agboola Sunday made this assertion while welcoming the Executives of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas (NUPENG) to the State Command Headquarters, at Civil Defence Village, Ilesa Road, Osogbo.
Agboola, according to a press release e-signed by the State’s Command Public Relations Officer, ASCII Atanda Olabisi, promised unhindered support for NUPENG in its fight against distribution of adulterated fuel.
Commandant Agboola maintained that the meeting comes at the appropriate time as his administration has zero tolerance for vandalism and illegal dealing in fuel.
In his response, the Acting Chairman NUPENG, Osun State Chapter, Comrade Festus Omotosho Ishola, commended the gallantry of the Corps in the fight against vandalism. He lauded the Corp’s cooperative effort and strong relationship with the association.
Comrade Omotosho reiterated that NUPENG would continue working with the NSCDC in the fight against economic sabotage.
In attendance at the meeting are: the Oil and Gas (OGS) NUPENG Chairman Osun State Chapter Comrade Akeem Adunola, OGS vice Chairman, Comrade Oyewole Johnson, the OGS Osun Treasurer Comrade Muiden Adekunle and OGS Osun Member Comrade Adebayo Mukaila.
