The TV crew of the News Agency of Nigeria, led by Lucky Anyanwu, was on hand on Saturday in Sokoto to cover the mini durbar staged to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the ascension of the 20th Sultan, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III.
Apart from former President Olusegun Obasanjo, host Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and Reverend Father Mathew Hassan Kukah, who mounted horses to celebrate the Sultan, there were the spectacles of the dancing horse and drumming on the back of camels too.
President Muhammadu Buhari, along with many traditional rulers from across Nigeria also attended the event.
