Protesters backing the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Monday referred to the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as a murderer during their protest in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The protesters, in their hundreds, marched against what they termed the move to turn Kwara State into a killing field.
The group, under the aegis of the Coalition of Concerned Kwara Citizens, said there was nothing wrong with the movement of suspected cultists to Abuja by Idris for further investigation, adding that this was not the first time it will happen, even in Kwara State.
The women, who led the songs for the protest, at some point referred to Saraki as a butcher, saying they would not wait until he wastes the whole of Kwara State.
