A massive python of 23 feet has killed a woman in Indonesia.
This will be the second time in just over a year that such incident will occur in that area of the country.
The woman killed has been identified as 54-year-old Wa Tiba, a mother of two.
Tiba was reported to have gone missing while checking her vegetable garden near her village on Muna island in Southeast Sulawesi province on Thursday evening.
This was disclosed by the chief of the village of Persiapan Lawela, Faris.
When she didn’t return by Friday morning, her sister went to look for her, but found only her footprints, flashlight, machete and slippers.
Tiba’s entire family and about 100 other villagers then went in search of her.
When they searched the bush near where her things were found, they discovered the 23-foot long python near them.
The python could barely move, an indication it had just eaten.
After killing the snake, the villagers cut it open to discover Tiba’s body.
It was still intact with all her clothes.
While her head was towards the tail of the huge snake, her legs were by its mouth, an indication that she was swallowed head first.
