Tinubu afraid of losing his investments in Ekiti – Fayose

The Ayo Fayose Campaign Organisation has described the statement issued by the All Progressives Congress National Leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, threatening war and anarchy should the result of Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State go against the party as “lamentation of a political merchant that is about to lose his investments”.
The Deputy Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee of AFCO, which is propagating the candidature of Ayo Fayose on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement on Friday: “It is obvious that the reality of an impending rejection of his slave drivers by the people of Ekiti State is already dawning on Tinubu and he must weep.”
AFCO said it was strange that despite that Electoral Laws forbid campaign 48 hours to an election, Tinubu and his APC could still go to the press to carry out indirect campaigns for their party, while also trying to armtwist and blackmail the Independent National Electoral Commission and the security agencies.
The statement said: “We had expected that Tinubu and his party would respect the Electoral Law but since leopard can never change the colours of its skin, they have behaved true to type by campaigning for APC and Governor Kayode Fayemi.
“Most importantly, we are not unmindful of the fact that Tinubu’s fear of an impending loss of Ekiti, which he has turned to his political colony has demented his mind, such that he does know that Nigeria is not owned by him and cannot dictate how government agencies perform their duties.
“We therefore urge INEC and security agencies involved in the election to ignore Tinubu and his ranting of an impending loser, and do their jobs in accordance with the Constitution of Nigeria.
“Nigerians should also bear in their minds that election is only free and fair when it is won by the APC, but otherwise when other parties win.”
