APC chieftains including Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, and Olusegun Osoba; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, amongst others, had met on Sunday in Lagos State to discuss topical national issues.

In a special press statement on Tuesday by his Media Office and signed by Tunde Rahman, the former Lagos governor said: “I join Muslims in Nigeria and across the world in observance of this blessed month of Ramadan. For this special and holy month serves to remind us of the peace-loving and compassionate principles of our faith and encourages us to be even more faithful to these principles that we may all move closer to Allah in our daily lives.

In his address at the launch of a book in honour of the First Lady, entitled: “Aisha Buhari: Being Different,” written by Dr. Hajo Sani, Tinubu described Mrs. Buhari as a remarkable woman, and that given her achievements, no one can reasonably question the role of a First Lady any longer.

While the respected politician’s friends have been celebrating him for his unique leadership and unquestionable influence on the polity, others who apparently nurse some form of grouse or the other outdo one another on the social media, especially Twitter, to say, write or post something capable of at least putting a chink in his armor.

Speaking during the 12th Bola Ahmed Tinubu Colloquium held in Kano State on Monday to mark the 69th birthday of the ex-Governor of Lagos, Sanwo-Olu, who joined the event virtually from Abuja airport, applauded Tinubu’s stance on true federalism, noting that the APC National Leader had remained unshaken in his commitment to peaceful coexistence among ethnic nationalities making up the country.
